Holleman Elementary
With the motto “A Great Place to Learn,” Holleman Elementary School strives to be what every child needs to develop a deep love for knowledge early in life. That quest starts with the recognition that no two students are alike. Understanding and accommodating individual learning styles are at the forefront of effective teaching, and HES has that in spades.
Programs at this Waller ISD elementary school cater to each student’s needs and interests. For aspiring candidates, there’s student council. For those seeking a challenge, there’s the gifted & talented program and chess. And for children who benefit from specialized instruction, HES offers a leveled literacy program, dyslexia program and schoolwide Title 1 reading and math teachers. There are even music classes and volunteer opportunities! It’s all part of the mission to develop happy, satisfied, well-rounded individuals.
